Injectable HydrationSkin Booster Injections in Manhattan, NYC
At Consultation 60 Minutes
Micro-injections that hydrate and improve skin quality from within, rather than adding volume. If your skin looks tired and dry no matter what you put on it, this is the treatment that works at the layer creams cannot reach.

What It Is
Hydration that goes in, not on
Skin boosters are injectable treatments that deliver hydrating and skin-conditioning ingredients into the dermis through a series of small injections across the treatment area. They are not dermal fillers. Filler adds structure and volume in a specific place; a skin booster spreads through the tissue and changes the quality of the skin itself.
The difference matters because the two get confused constantly. If your cheeks have flattened, you want filler. If your skin looks dull, crepey and dehydrated but the shape of your face is fine, a booster is the correct treatment.
Results build rather than appear. Most people notice improvement in the weeks after treatment rather than the day of it, which is why boosters are usually planned as a short course.

What We Use
The products behind the treatment
Different boosters do different jobs. Which one suits you is decided at your assessment, not before it.
A hyaluronic acid microdroplet injectable, used to improve smoothness and hydration across the cheeks.
Stabilised hyaluronic acid delivered in small deposits, aimed at quality and elasticity rather than volume.
A high-concentration hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads through the tissue rather than staying where it is placed.
Polynucleotide-based, used for skin repair, resilience and texture, particularly on thin or stressed skin.
A category focused on regeneration and barrier support rather than immediate hydration alone.
Your practitioner selects the product, the number of injection points and the interval based on what your skin actually needs.
Product availability and suitability are confirmed at consultation. Individual results vary, and no injectable treatment is appropriate for everyone.
Is It Right For You
Who books skin boosters
- Your skin looks dull and dehydrated no matter how much moisturiser you use
- Fine crepey lines have appeared on the cheeks, neck or around the eyes
- You want better skin quality without changing the shape of your face
- You have been told you need filler but do not actually want more volume
- Makeup sits badly because the surface has lost its bounce
- You are happy to wait a few weeks for a gradual result rather than an instant one
If you want an immediate visible change for an event this week, a Glass Skin Medical Facial is the better booking. We will say so.

Your Appointment
What the 60 minutes involves
Injectables at Skin Lab are performed by a registered nurse under medical direction. Nothing is administered before you have a price and know what is being used.
Your skin, history and goals are reviewed, and the booster is selected from there. You are told what it is, how many sessions it usually takes and what it costs.
Topical numbing is applied and the injection points are mapped across the treatment area so the product is distributed evenly.
A series of small micro-injections. Most people describe it as brief stinging rather than pain, and the pass itself takes only a few minutes.
Small raised bumps at each point are normal and usually settle within a day. You leave with written aftercare and an interval for the next session.
Downtime is minimal but not zero. Expect small bumps at the injection sites for up to 24 hours, and occasional bruising. Most clients are comfortable back at work the same day, though we would not schedule this the afternoon before a wedding.
Avoid makeup for the rest of the day, skip saunas and hot workouts for 48 hours, and leave strong actives for a few days. Daily SPF applies as always.
Client Reviews
What clients say
Amazing executive gentleman's facial. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made the entire experience relaxing. My skin felt refreshed and looked great afterward.
I literally got glass skin after my treatment. My skin has never looked so smooth, hydrated, and glowing. The staff was incredibly professional and truly cares about your skin.
Booked the signature facial before a wedding and the difference was visible the same day. They explained what each step was doing instead of rushing through it.
Common Questions
Skin boosters, answered honestly
What is the difference between skin boosters and dermal fillers?
Filler is placed in a specific area to restore structure and volume, such as flattened cheeks or thin lips. A skin booster spreads through the tissue and improves the quality of the skin itself: hydration, smoothness and elasticity. They are different tools for different problems, and they are frequently confused. See dermal fillers if volume is your concern.
How much do skin boosters cost?
Priced at consultation. The figure depends on which product suits your skin and how much is needed, and quoting a number before seeing your face would be guesswork. You are given the price before anything is administered, never after.
How many sessions will I need?
Two to three sessions is typical for most products, spaced a few weeks apart, with maintenance after that. Your practitioner gives you a real number at the assessment rather than selling a fixed package.
When will I see a difference?
Gradually, usually over the weeks following treatment rather than the same day. This is a treatment that improves skin quality over time, which is exactly why it suits people whose skin is dry and dull rather than those who need an instant event-day glow.
Does it hurt?
Topical numbing is applied first. Most people describe brief stinging at each injection point rather than pain. The injections themselves take only a few minutes of the appointment.
What is the downtime?
Small raised bumps at the injection points are normal and typically settle within 24 hours. Occasional bruising is possible. Most clients go back to work the same day, but we would leave at least a week before an important event.
Who performs the treatment?
Injectable treatments are performed by a registered nurse under medical direction. You will know who is treating you before anything is booked, and if the treatment is not appropriate for you we will say so at the assessment.
Can I combine boosters with other treatments?
Often yes, with sensible spacing. Boosters are commonly planned alongside Botox or a course of facials. What is safe together is decided at your assessment, not booked blind.
