What It Is
When one layer is not enough
The Signature Medical Facial does a great deal in an hour. But some concerns live below where a single protocol reaches: pigment that has settled in, texture that has roughened over years, the flat tone that sun damage leaves behind. For those, the surface has to be resurfaced before the actives can do their work.
The Advanced adds three things to the Signature foundation. A medical peel or microdermabrasion, chosen on the day for your skin, to lift the compacted surface layer. Collagen stimulation to support firmness rather than just glow. And LED recovery therapy to calm the skin and help it rebuild once the resurfacing is done.
It is the step up, not a different facial. Everything you would get in the Signature is still here. The extra fifteen minutes and the extra $200 buy the depth.

Your aesthetician assesses the skin and decides between a medical peel and microdermabrasion. Reactive skin usually gets the gentler option; compacted texture gets the deeper one.
Double cleanse and hydrodermabrasion first, then the resurfacing pass. This is the stage that separates the Advanced from the Signature.
Skin Caviar sequence applied to freshly resurfaced skin, where it reaches further, then collagen stimulation and the medical-grade mask.
LED therapy while you rest to calm the skin and support rebuilding, then brightening, SPF and a written plan for the week ahead.

What to expect after resurfacing
The first day or two
- Skin looks flushed and feels warm for a few hours, then settles
- Slight tightness or sensitivity the next day is normal
- Light flaking on day two or three if a peel was used
- Most clients are comfortable in makeup by the next morning
The following weeks
- Brightness and smoothness are clearest from day three onward
- Pigment softens gradually rather than vanishing overnight
- Every four to six weeks suits most skin, with a course for stubborn pigment
- Daily SPF is essential. Freshly resurfaced skin pigments easily
Results vary based on your skin and how consistently you protect it afterwards. We discuss what to realistically expect at your appointment rather than promising a fixed outcome.
Getting Ready
How to prepare, and what to do after
Before your appointment
- Pause retinol and strong acids for five days, longer than for the Signature
- No sun exposure or self-tanner for a week beforehand
- Tell us about recent peels, treatments, medication or allergies
- Do not book within a week of an important event
After your facial
- Barrier cream and SPF only for 48 hours
- No saunas, steam, hot workouts or swimming for two days
- Do not pick or exfoliate any flaking. Let it come away on its own
- Hold off on actives for a week, then reintroduce slowly

Advanced Facial, answered honestly
What is the difference between the Signature and the Advanced?
The Advanced contains everything in the Signature and adds three things: a medical peel or microdermabrasion, collagen stimulation and LED recovery. The extra fifteen minutes and $200 buy resurfacing depth. If your concern is pigment, texture or sun damage, that depth is the point. If your skin is simply tired, the Signature is enough.
How long does it take?
75 minutes. The extra time over the Signature goes to the resurfacing pass and the LED recovery stage.
Peel or microdermabrasion, which will I get?
Your aesthetician decides at the analysis. Reactive or thinner skin usually gets microdermabrasion. Compacted texture and stubborn pigment usually get a medical peel. You are told which and why before it starts.
Is there downtime?
A little, unlike the Signature. Expect flushing for a few hours, possible tightness the next day and light flaking on day two or three if a peel was used. Most clients are comfortable in makeup by the next morning. Do not book within a week of an event.
Will it help with dark spots and melasma?
It softens them, and for many people noticeably. Pigment that has been there for years usually needs a short course rather than one session, and it needs diligent SPF afterwards or it comes back. Your aesthetician gives you a realistic number at the assessment.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes, with the resurfacing method chosen carefully. Microdermabrasion is generally the safer choice on deeper skin tones, and the peel is selected accordingly. This is part of why the analysis comes first rather than the booking deciding the protocol.
How often should I have it?
Every four to six weeks for a course of three is typical for pigment and texture, then the Signature for maintenance. You are given a real interval, not a subscription.
Can I combine it with Botox or fillers?
Not on the same day, because resurfaced skin needs to settle. Injectables are usually spaced a week or two from an Advanced. Your practitioner will tell you what is safe together.
