Three Session CourseScalp PRP for Hair Loss in Manhattan, NYC
$799 60 Min · 3 for $1,999
Platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood and injected into the scalp, aimed at thinning hair and weakening follicles. It works with the hair growth cycle, which is why it is taken as a course rather than a single visit.
Registered nurse, medical direction
What It Is
Treating the follicle, not the hair
A small blood sample is taken at the start of your appointment and spun in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets. That concentrate is then injected across the scalp in the areas where hair has started to thin. The aim is to support the follicles that are still there rather than to replace ones that have already gone.
This distinction decides whether the treatment is worth your money. Scalp PRP works best on follicles that are miniaturising: hair that has become finer, shorter and lighter but is still growing. Where the follicle has been dormant for years, it has far less to work with, and we will tell you that at the assessment rather than after three sessions.
It is non-surgical. There are no incisions, no grafts and no recovery period beyond a tender scalp for a day.

Is It Right For You
Who scalp PRP works best for
Honest expectations matter more here than in any other treatment we offer, so this list is worth reading properly.
Usually a good fit
- Early to moderate thinning rather than established bald areas
- A widening part, or thinning through the crown and temples
- Hair that has become finer and shorter but is still growing
- Post-partum or stress-related shedding that has not fully recovered
- You want a non-surgical option before considering transplant surgery
- You can commit to three sessions and then maintenance
Usually not the answer
- Areas that have been completely bald for several years
- Hair loss caused by an untreated medical or thyroid condition
- Certain blood and clotting disorders, or anticoagulant medication
- You want a guaranteed outcome. Nobody honest can offer one
- You are looking for a single visit rather than a course
If your hair loss needs a dermatologist or a medical work-up first, you will be told that plainly.
Your Appointment
What a session involves
Your practitioner examines the areas of thinning, asks about how long it has been happening and what else has changed. Photographs are taken so progress is measured rather than remembered.
A small sample is taken as in a routine blood test, then spun in-clinic to concentrate the platelets. You wait in the room while it processes.
The concentrate is injected across the treatment area in a grid pattern. Numbing is used, and most people describe it as brief pressure and stinging rather than pain.
The scalp is tender for a day. You leave with aftercare instructions and a date for the next session, usually four to six weeks out.
Progress photographed
The timeline, honestly
- Nothing visible in the first month. Hair does not work that quickly
- Reduced shedding is usually the first change people notice
- New growth, where it happens, tends to show from around three months
- Results are judged at six months against your baseline photographs
- Maintenance sessions are typically needed to hold the result
Results vary considerably between individuals and depend on the cause of your hair loss, how long it has been happening and your general health. Nobody can guarantee regrowth.
The Course
Three sessions, $1,999
A single session is not how this treatment works. Hair grows in cycles, and the point of a course is to reach follicles at different stages of that cycle across several months. Three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is the standard starting protocol.
Booking the course saves $398 against three individual sessions. Photographs are taken at every visit so you are looking at evidence rather than an impression when the six-month mark arrives.
Baseline photographs and full scalp mapping. The areas treated are recorded so later sessions match.
Four to six weeks later. Most people report less shedding by this point, though visible growth is still early.
Comparison photographs taken and reviewed with you. Maintenance spacing is decided from what the images actually show.
Client Reviews
What clients say
Amazing executive gentleman's facial. The staff was welcoming, professional, and made the entire experience relaxing. My skin felt refreshed and looked great afterward.
I literally got glass skin after my treatment. My skin has never looked so smooth, hydrated, and glowing. The staff was incredibly professional and truly cares about your skin.
Booked the signature facial before a wedding and the difference was visible the same day. They explained what each step was doing instead of rushing through it.
Common Questions
Hair restoration, answered honestly
Does scalp PRP actually regrow hair?
It can support and thicken follicles that are still active, and reduced shedding is the change most people notice first. It does not regrow hair in areas that have been completely bald for years, because there is no viable follicle left to work with. Anyone promising guaranteed regrowth is overselling it.
How much does it cost?
$799 for a single 60-minute session, or $1,999 for the standard course of three. The course saves $398 and is how the treatment is designed to be taken.
How many sessions will I need?
Three to start, spaced four to six weeks apart. After that, maintenance sessions are usually needed to hold the result. Your practitioner gives you a realistic schedule after assessing your scalp.
When will I see results?
Not in the first month. Reduced shedding typically comes first, with new growth showing from around three months where it is going to happen at all. Results are judged at six months against the photographs taken at your first visit.
Does it hurt?
The scalp is a sensitive area and the injections are felt. Numbing is used and most clients describe brief stinging and pressure rather than pain. The scalp is tender for about a day afterwards.
What is the downtime?
Minimal. Expect a tender scalp and possible small bumps at injection points for 24 hours. Avoid washing your hair, saunas and heavy exercise for the rest of the day.
Can women have scalp PRP?
Yes. Female pattern thinning, a widening part and post-partum shedding that has not recovered are among the most common reasons clients book it. The assessment is the same.
Who performs the treatment?
Scalp PRP is performed by a registered nurse under medical direction, with blood drawn and processed here in the clinic. If your hair loss looks like it needs medical investigation first, you will be told that at the assessment.
