Most Booked at Skin LabSignature Medical Facial in Midtown East, Manhattan
$299 60 Minutes
A medical-grade facial built around La Prairie's Swiss Skin Caviar formulations, performed inside a private medical suite. It starts with a real skin analysis, not a script, and ends with skin that looks like yours on its best week.
La Prairie protocols
What It Is
A facial with a medical spine and a luxury finish
Most facials are either clinical and cold, or pleasant and pointless. The Signature sits in the middle on purpose. It follows a medical protocol, analysis first, every product chosen for what your skin shows that day, applied through La Prairie's Skin Caviar line, one of the most refined formulations in Swiss skincare.
Every Signature includes the Executive Gentleman's Facial protocol, so it adapts to men's skin without a separate booking. And it is finished with Hermès touches, because how the last five minutes feel matters as much as what the first fifty-five did.
This is our core medical facial and the usual first booking. If you have never had a clinical facial before, start here. If you already know you want more depth, the Advanced adds resurfacing and collagen work on top of everything below.

The Benefits
What one session actually changes
Six things clients notice, most of them the same afternoon.
Brighter, plumper-looking skin when you walk out, not next week. This is the reason it gets booked before dinners and shoots.
Skin Caviar formulations hold moisture through New York winters and office air, where most dullness starts.
Manual sculpting massage through the jawline and cheekbones. No devices, just method that has been refined over years.
Professional exfoliation and hydrodermabrasion lift the buildup that makes makeup sit unevenly.
Pigment correction softens early discolouration and the marks left after breakouts have cleared.
Book before dinner, an event or a meeting. Slight flush fades within the hour and most people skip makeup that evening.
Results vary from person to person. A facial improves how skin looks and feels; it does not permanently change skin structure.
Inside the Appointment
Everything included in your 60 minutes
Every Signature includes
- Medical skin analysis under examination light
- Executive Gentleman's Facial protocol
- Deep cleansing and professional exfoliation
- La Prairie luxury infusion
- Medical-grade collagen mask
- Skin tightening
- Brightening and pigment correction
- Hydrodermabrasion
- Neck and shoulder massage
- Hermès finishing touches
Selected steps are adjusted to your skin goals and professional assessment. No hidden add-ons at checkout. The price you book is the price you pay.
Your aesthetician examines your skin under examination light before choosing a single product. Congestion, dehydration, sensitivity, sun damage: what we see decides the protocol.
A thorough double cleanse and professional exfoliation open the skin so the actives can actually reach it. Hydrodermabrasion clears what exfoliation alone leaves behind.
Skin Caviar essence, serum and cream applied in clinical order, worked in with lifting massage strokes along the jaw, cheekbones and brow.
A medical-grade collagen mask while you rest, then brightening, SPF and a simple written plan. If your skin does not need a return visit soon, we tell you exactly that.

Is It Right For You
This facial is right for you if
- Your skin looks tired, dull or congested from city life and you want a visible reset
- You have an event, shoot or dinner and need glow with zero downtime
- You have had ordinary facials and want to feel what a medical protocol changes
- You are new to Skin Lab and want our most complete first impression
- You want La Prairie applied properly rather than sold to you at a counter
- You are a man who has never found a facial that adapts to your skin
If your skin is highly reactive or your barrier is damaged, we will say so at the assessment and adjust the protocol rather than push through. That is the honest version of a first visit.

Three Levels
Where the Signature sits
Our three medical facials share the same foundation. Each contains everything in the level below it, then adds more depth and more time in the room.
60 minutes. The core protocol: analysis, cleansing, La Prairie infusion, collagen mask, tightening, brightening and hydrodermabrasion. This page.
75 minutes. Adds a medical peel or microdermabrasion, collagen stimulation and LED recovery. For texture, pigment and sun damage. Read more.
90 minutes. Adds HiFU skin tightening for face, eyes and neck, and microneedling. Our most complete session. Read more.
Afterwards
What to expect after your facial
Straight after
- A mild flush for up to an hour, then settled, brighter skin the same day
- Skin feels hydrated and comfortable rather than tight
- Makeup is fine once the flush has gone, though most clients skip it that evening
- Straight back to work, dinner or an event
How long it holds
- Hydration and smoothness typically last two to three weeks
- Best maintained every four to six weeks
- Your aesthetician gives you an honest schedule, not a subscription pitch
- Daily SPF protects the brightening work you have just paid for
One facial improves how skin looks and feels; it does not permanently change skin structure, and anyone who promises that is selling. Consistency is what compounds.
Getting Ready
How to prepare, and what to do after

- Pause retinol and strong acids for about three days
- Makeup is fine, we will remove it properly
- Tell us about recent treatments, medication or allergies

After your facial

- Hold off on new active products for a few days
Common Questions
Signature Facial, answered honestly
Is it worth $299?
That depends on what you compare it to. A spa facial at $120 is mostly relaxation and works at the surface. The Signature is a medical protocol using La Prairie Skin Caviar, one of the most expensive skincare lines made, applied by clinical staff after a real analysis. Clients who have had both tend to notice the difference the same afternoon. If you want the cheaper version, we would rather tell you that than sell you this.
How long does it take?
60 minutes. We ask you to arrive a few minutes early so the skin analysis is not rushed, because that is where the protocol gets decided.
How is this different from the Advanced and Platinum facials?
Each level contains everything in the one below it. The Advanced at $499 adds a medical peel or microdermabrasion, collagen stimulation and LED recovery. The Platinum at $899 adds HiFU skin tightening and microneedling on top of that. The Signature is the foundation, and for most first visits it is the right one.
Is this suitable for men?
Every Signature includes the Executive Gentleman's Facial protocol. A good number of our clients are men working in the offices around Midtown East, most often before presentations and travel. The protocol adapts to your skin, including how recently you shaved.
Can I wear makeup afterwards, or book before an event?
Yes to both. Skin may look slightly flushed for up to an hour and then settles, so most clients go straight on to dinner or an event. Booking about a week ahead of anything important gives skin time to settle at its best.
What if my skin is too sensitive for it?
The analysis comes first for exactly this reason. If your skin is reactive or the barrier is damaged, the protocol is adjusted on the day, and if a facial is not appropriate at all you are told before it starts. Nothing is pushed through because it was booked.
Can I add Botox or fillers in the same visit?
Not in the same appointment, because the skin needs to settle first. Many clients book a facial and Botox a week or two apart, which works well. Your practitioner will tell you what is safe together.
How often should I book it?
Every four to six weeks suits most skin. You are given a real interval at your visit rather than a package to keep feeding. If your skin does not need a return soon, we say that.
