What the 30 minutes involves
The Practice's licensed provider looks at your face at rest and in movement and identifies where volume has actually been lost.
Product, number of syringes and the total are confirmed before anything is prepared. This is your decision point.
Most products contain local anaesthetic, and topical numbing is applied first. A fine needle or cannula is used depending on the area.
You check the result in the mirror with us and leave with written aftercare for the next 48 hours.
Good to know before you book
- Do not book within two weeks of a wedding, shoot or big event
- Swelling is normal for a few days, especially in the lips
- Bruising is more likely under the eyes and in the lips
- Tell us about blood thinners, supplements and recent dental work
- Treatment can be staged across visits to spread the cost

Treatment is charged per syringe, and different areas need different products: a firm product that lifts a cheek is not the soft one used in lips. One area may take one syringe or two. Pricing before seeing your face would be a guess.

Aftercare that actually matters
For 48 hours, skip strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and facials, and avoid pressing on the treated areas. Sleep on your back the first night if you can.
Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if it is ever needed. Call us straight away if you notice unusual pain, colour change or anything that worries you.

How long do fillers last?
Typically six to eighteen months, depending on the product, the area and your metabolism. Lips tend to fade faster than cheeks because they move constantly. You will be given an estimate for your areas.
What is the difference between Botox and filler?
Botox relaxes muscles to soften lines that appear with movement. Filler replaces lost volume. Many people need one and assume they need the other, which is what the assessment sorts out.
Will it look obvious?
Overfilling is what looks obvious, and it is a choice. Conservative placement restores structure without announcing itself. If you want subtle, say so; if a request looks overdone, we will tell you.
Is filler reversible?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed. It is one reason they are the most widely used choice.
