Three things working together
Microneedling creates controlled micro-channels that trigger the skin's own repair response. Radiofrequency adds heat energy at a set depth, which reaches tissue that needling alone does not. Platelet-rich plasma, concentrated from your own blood during the appointment, is then delivered into those channels to support the healing the first two have started.
Each element does something on its own. Combined, they are the most substantial remodelling treatment we offer, and the one we recommend for indented acne scarring and skin laxity where a facial has no realistic chance of helping.
It is the step up from Glass Skin Microneedling. Same technology, with your own platelets added. That addition is the difference between $299 and $799, and it is worth it for scarring rather than for general glow.

What the 60 minutes involves
Areas are mapped and depth settings chosen, then a small blood sample is taken in the same way as a routine blood test.
Topical numbing is applied while the sample processes in the centrifuge. This needs time to work properly, which is part of why the appointment runs a full hour.
The radiofrequency microneedling handpiece moves across the area in sections. You feel pressure and warmth. The plasma is applied into the channels as the pass progresses.
Barrier support and SPF, plus written aftercare for 48 hours and a date for your next session.

The Course
Three sessions, $1,999
Collagen remodelling is cumulative. One session starts the process and the result plateaus; three sessions spaced four to six weeks apart is where the visible change in scarring actually comes from.
The course saves $398 against three individual sessions. Photographs are taken at each visit under the same lighting, so at the end you are comparing images rather than memories.
Baseline photographs, conservative settings while we see how your skin responds.
Settings adjusted based on how you healed. Texture usually shifts before scarring does.
Final pass, then a review at three and six months to decide whether more is worthwhile.

What is the difference between this and regular microneedling?
Glass Skin Microneedling at $299 is radiofrequency microneedling on its own. This treatment at $799 adds platelet-rich plasma concentrated from your own blood during the appointment, which supports healing and pushes the remodelling further. For general texture the cheaper option is usually enough. For indented scarring, the platelets earn their cost.
How much does it cost?
$799 for a single 60-minute session, or $1,999 for the course of three, which saves $398. Scarring in particular is treated as a course rather than a one-off.
How many sessions do I need?
Three, spaced four to six weeks apart, is the standard protocol. Deep ice-pick scarring sometimes needs more than one course, and you will be told that at the assessment rather than discovering it later.
How painful is it?
Topical numbing is applied and given time to work. Most clients describe pressure and heat rather than sharpness, with the forehead and jawline felt most. You can ask to pause at any point.
What is the downtime?
Redness like moderate sunburn on the day, fading across two to three days, with possible swelling. Most people are comfortable in makeup by day two or three. Plan this at least two weeks before anything important.
When will I see results in my scarring?
Texture improves within weeks, but scarring is slow work. Collagen remodelling continues for months after each session, which is why results are judged at six months against your baseline photographs rather than a few weeks in.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Radiofrequency microneedling is generally better tolerated across skin tones than light-based devices because it does not target pigment. Settings are still adjusted individually, and diligent SPF afterwards matters more rather than less.
Who performs the treatment?
Performed by a registered nurse under medical direction, with blood drawn and processed here in the clinic. If the treatment is not appropriate for your skin on the day, we will reschedule rather than proceed.
